Massage is a great preventative treatment whether it be an essential part of a successful physical training plan or to treat postural problems. You don’t need to be injured to benefit from a deep tissue, Sports Massage. Prevention of injury is just as important.
Posture, in general, heavily contributes to causes of pain. Sports Massage Therapy can help ease the pain as well as educate you to take an active role in correcting your posture by advising you on specific exercises for your condition. Sports massage can also be used to prescribe and teach a safe pre- or post-natal exercise plan.
Sports Massage treats all soft tissue problems involving muscles, tendons and, to some degree, ligaments. It covers general aches and muscular pains brought on by the pressures of life, stress release and is particularly effective in pre- or post- sport event situations for strains and sprains.
