Margaret Sinclair
Margaret Sinclair is a qualified Sport Massage Therapist. She is affiliated to the Sports Massage Association and is a member of both The Association of Practical and Natural Therapists and the General Council for Massage Therapy.
A Reiki and Seichim Master of 5 years Margaret takes a holistic approach to all treatment.
She is currently studying to be an Osteopath at the British School of Osteopathy. This gives her a deeper knowledge and understanding of the anatomy, physiology and biomechanics of the body.
By incorporating aspects from all of these disciplines she is able to provide a unique treatment program to help improve a person’s physical and emotional wellbeing.
About Reiki
Reiki is an ancient system of natural healing involving the life-force energy that flows through all living things. A Reiki practitioner provides treatment by directing the positive healing energy into an individual, where it naturally passes to the areas it is needed.
Just as blood flows through the body so does energy. This flow can become slow or stagnant. The causes of this can be emotional or physical. This lack of energy flow means the body is unable to work optimally and self-healing can be affected.
The use of Reiki to assist this flow and remove the stagnant energy means the body is able to heal itself again in a very natural and positive way.
Reiki is a non-invasive treatment, which works to achieve a sense of relaxation and peace. Perfect in the fast paced life we find ourselves in.
The average treatment takes approximately an hour. The practitioner will use their hands placed either lightly on top of the individual’s clothes or just above the individual. The hands are placed in a pattern over the body, channelling in the positive energy to where it is needed.
The list of conditions which can be helped with Reiki are endless. Examples are pain, menstrual problems, stress, emotional issues, migraines and many others.
Reiki cannot cause any harm and works well in conjunction with other therapies.
