Charlotte Hornsby SDSHom, RSHom
Charlotte is a fully qualified Homeopath having completed a four-year course at South Downs School of Homeopathy.
She has a particular interest in children and women’s health, but is passionate in her belief that homeopathy can help people from all walks of life.
Charlotte's working background is as a Registered General Nurse with ten years experience including training as a specialist renal nurse.
Charlotte has four children and it was after the birth of her eldest child that she was introduced to homeopathy. Born prematurely he was diagnosed with asthma at six months old. After numerous trips to the A&E department and hospital admissions, Charlotte and her husband decided to see if homeopathy could help him. He responded very well to homeopathic treatment and after two years was no longer dependent on inhalers and steroids. He is now fit and well and does not suffer from asthma.
Why Homeopathy?
Homeopathy is a complete system of medicine that has been in use worldwide for nearly two hundred years.
The scope of homeopathic treatment is vast taking in both chronic and acute complaints. Homeopathy is a holistic medicine, all this means is that rather than treating one part of your body that may be causing discomfort, for example a headache, a homeopath will be choosing a remedy (homeopathic medicine) that fits all of your characteristics, so physical complaints are considered in relation to your mental and emotional well-being and vice versa.
Homeopathy is a gentle, safe treatment that works with the body rather than in opposition to it. It is absolutely safe in pregnancy, in children and indeed throughout all of life’s stages.
Charlotte is committed to continuing professional development.
In addition to Homeopathy Charlotte is able to offer Reiki treatments having completed her Reiki levels one and two.
